Andrej L. "Andy" Stoelting is a partner with Dimalanta Clark, LLP and chairs the firm’s Construction Group. With over sixteen years of civil litigation and related legal experience, eight as a member of the California Bar, Mr. Stoelting’s practice focuses on litigating complex civil matters, primarily in the defense of the construction industry against lawsuits involving defect and injury claims. He has received a judgment following bench trial, prevailed in law & motion, and participated in numerous mediations and settlement conferences. Mr. Stoelting holds the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS™) designation from the International Risk Management Institute, is licensed with the California Department of Insurance, and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry and the Marin County Bar Association’s Construction Section. Prior to joining Dimalanta Clark, LLP, Mr. Stoelting worked with the Construction Services division of a full-service insurance brokerage and for a large California law firm. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the Golden Gate University School of Law, Mr. Stoelting is a former United States Congressional intern and served as an editor to the Annual Survey of International and Comparative Law. His moot court team was selected internationally as a Regional Finalist in the European Law Moot Court Competition. Mr. Stoelting is admitted to practice in the State Courts of California, the United States District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.
